Hello students! The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the examination schedule for the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2025 on its official website, <a style="text-decoration: none;" href="http://cbse.gov.in">cbse.gov.in</a>. Students preparing for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams can visit the official website or use the link below to download the examination schedule.
The notable highlight is that the board has issued the date sheet approximately 86 days before the exams. Compared to last year, this is a significant improvement, as the timetable has been made available 23 days earlier than in 2024.
According to the schedule, the CBSE Secondary School Examination 2025 (CBSE Class 10) will commence on February 15, 2025, and continue until March 18, 2025. Similarly, the CBSE Senior School Certificate Examination 2025 (CBSE Class 12) will also begin on February 15, 2025, and conclude on April 4, 2025.

The Joint Admission Board (JAB) has decided to restore the earlier eligibility criteria for the number of attempts in JEE Advanced. This means that candidates will now have only two attempts to clear JEE Advanced, just like the rules were in place before this year's announcement.

In a recent development, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) has once again revised the number of attempts allowed for the JEE Advanced examination. Earlier, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur had issued a notification increasing the number of attempts from two to three. However, following a meeting, the decision has now been reversed.

In a press release issued by IIT Kanpur on Monday18 November 2024, it was confirmed that the number of attempts for JEE Advanced has been reduced back to two, reversing the earlier change. This means that students who have passed their 12th grade in 2023 will no longer be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced, despite the earlier provision that had allowed them this opportunity.

This sudden change has left many students disappointed, especially those who were hopeful after the initial announcement.&nbsp; After the increase in attempts, thousands of students had applied for JEE Main with the aim of taking advantage of the new opportunity. Many students had even started preparing for IIT admissions once again, believing they had an additional chance.

The likely reason behind this decision to revert to two attempts could be the potential for students to demand permanent changes to the rules if three attempts were allowed. The fear was that such a precedent could lead to future demands to make this policy permanent, which prompted the revision. Hello Students, The website for the prestigious JEE Advanced 2025 exam has been released. This year, the exam will be conducted by IIT Kanpur. Candidates must meet each of the five eligibility criteria outlined below to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2025.

To be eligible for JEE (Advanced) 2025, candidates must perform well in the JEE (Main) 2025 exam, specifically in the B.E./B.Tech. Paper (Paper I). Only the top 2,50,000 candidates (across all categories) will be shortlisted for JEE (Advanced) based on their JEE (Main) results.

For OCI/PIO candidates with cards issued before 04.03.2021, they are treated as Indian nationals but do not qualify for any reserved categories except OPEN-PwD. So, these candidates need to fall within the OPEN and OPEN-PwD categories only.

Candidates should be born on or after October 1, 2000. There is an age relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, who are eligible if they were born on or after October 1, 1995.

Candidates are ineligible for JEE (Advanced) 2025 if they:

Have previously been admitted to an IIT under any academic program listed in JoSAA&rsquo;s 2024 Business Rules.

Accepted an IIT seat through online or in-person reporting in previous years, even if they did not continue in the program.

There are some exceptions to this rule:
