The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be conducted on May 5, 2024. NTA released the City Intimation Slip for NEET UG 2024 exam on 24th April 2024 on its official website- exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/, and the admit card will also be released 2 days before the exam. Candidates must follow all instructions as per the information bulletin available on the official website of NTA before appearing for the exam.
Through this blog post of Gurukripa, we are going to tell you some rules and regulations based on the information bulletin of NTA, which you must read before going to the exam.
These are the seven rules that must be followed to gain entry:
The candidate must reach the Centre well in advance by 11:00 AM.
No candidate shall be permitted to enter the Centre after the Gate Closing- Time (01:30 PM).
No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/Hall before the end of the examination.
Candidates are advised to verify the location of the examination venue, at least a day in advance so that they do not face any problem on the day of examination.
A valid Identity card(PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/ Ration Card/ Class 12 Admit Card with Photograph /any other valid photo ID issued by the Government), preferably Aadhaar Card must be brought by the candidate to the center.
Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:
Personal transparent water bottle.
Additional photograph same as uploaded on Application Form, to be pasted on Attendance Sheet
Admit Card (to be issued separately) along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) with Postcard size photograph affixed on the designated space downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printable on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
PwD Certificate and Scribe-related documents, if applicable.
Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any personal belongings including electronic devices, mobile phones, and other banned/ prohibited items listed in the Information Bulletin to the Examination Centre. Examination Officials will not be responsible for the safe keep of personal belongings and there will be no facility at the center.
The Examination Centre will be opened two (02) hours before the Exam. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 pm. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the Centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.
