The registration process for JEE Main 2025 April session has officially started on February 1, 2025, on the NTA website. If you missed the January session or want to appear again in the April session, this is your chance to apply and secure admission to top engineering institutes.
The candidates who have applied for JEE (Main)-2025 Session 1 and also wish to appear for JEE (Main)-2025 Session 2 are required to log in with their previous Application Number and Password as provided in Session 1 and pay the examination fee for JEE (Main) 2025 Session-2 as applicable. They may only choose the Paper, Medium of the Examination, choice of Cities for examination and pay the Examination Fees for the present Session.
Those candidates who have not applied earlier, need to apply afresh as per the schedule given Below and check the Information Bulletin of JEE (Main)-2025 available on the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.ac.in/ for details of Papers, Scheme, Timing, Eligibility and other information.

Candidates must have qualified Class 12 board exams in the year 2023, and 2024 or appearing in 2025 are eligible to apply for JEE Mains 2025.
However, the candidate may be required to meet the JEE eligibility criteria of the institute to which they are taking admission.
For appearing in the JEE (Main) - 2025, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, 2024, or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) - 2025. examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute to which they are desirous of taking admission.

The process of applying for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 2 is different for candidates who have already applied for Session 1 and those who are applying for the first time. Follow the steps below based on your category:
If you have already applied for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 1 and now want to appear for Session 2, follow these steps:
Login to Your Account
Visit the official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/
Click on the "JEE (Main) 2025 Session 2 Registration" link.
Log in using your Application Number and Password from Session 1.
Choose Exam Details
Select your preferred Course (Paper).
Choose the Medium of the Question Paper (English, Hindi, or other available languages).
Select Examination Cities from the available options.
Pay the Examination Fee
Review the fee details as per your category.
Make the payment online using Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.
Submit the Application
Carefully check all the details before submitting.
Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
If you did not apply for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 1 and are applying for the first time, follow these steps:
Visit the Official Website
Go to https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
Click on "JEE (Main) 2025 Session 2 Registration".
Register as a New Candidate
Click on "New Registration" and read the instructions carefully.
Enter your Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, and Mobile Number.
Create a password and note down your Application Number.
Fill in the Application Form
Enter your personal details, academic qualifications, and exam preferences.
Upload required documents, including:
Passport-size photograph
Signature
Category and PwD certificate (if applicable)
Select Exam Details
Choose the Course (Paper) you want to appear for.
Select the Medium of the Question Paper.
Choose your preferred Examination Cities.
Pay the Examination Fee
Make the payment online using Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.
Submit the Application
Carefully review the entered details.
Click on Submit and download the confirmation page for future reference.
