The process of admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA Counselling 2024) is underway. Meanwhile, the IITs have released the schedule of their new academic session, which includes important dates. According to the schedule, most IITs will start their new academic session between July 15 and August 19. The reporting and commencement dates for candidates admitted to Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Integrated MTech and Dual Degree courses through JoSSA 2024 have also been given. This reporting schedule is available on the official website of JoSSA 2024.

Candidates admitted to IIT Bombay will have to report for the orientation session on July 26 and classes will begin from July 29. Reporting for IIT Indore is on August 19. Gurukripa IIT JEE Expert said that the results of Round 2 seat allocation for BTech, Integrated MTech and Dual Degree seats in IIT and NIT Plus institutes through JoSSA counselling were released on Thursday. Candidates successful in Round 2 will have to upload their documents by 5 pm on July 2. Failure to upload documents will result in cancellation of the allotted seat and candidates will not be able to participate in the subsequent rounds of seat allocation.
