The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024 on its official website from February 9, and it will continue until around March 9, approximately for a month. 

 According to Gurukripa NEET experts, the examination will be conducted on May 5, 2024, as notified earlier on the NTA website yesterday. After the disruptions caused by COVID, the NEET UG exam is gradually returning to its scheduled timing, and for the first time, the date for the NEET UG exam results has been announced along with the registration notification. It is an unprecedented decision by the National Testing Agency in the history of NEET UG exams to announce the result date in advance. 

According to Gurukripa NEET experts, on June 14, 2024, the National Testing Agency will release the result of NEET UG 2024, enabling students to undergo counseling on time and start the MBBS session in medical colleges promptly.

 

As usual, this year too, the NEET UG 2024 exam will be conducted in 13 languages, and the exam will be conducted in pen-paper mode. These languages include Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Through this exam, students can get admission to government and semi-government medical colleges in courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BSc Nursing.

 

According to the notification from the National Testing Agency, students can fill their application forms online until 5 p.m. on March 9, 2024. This online application has to be done on the official website of the National Testing Agency at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET

Along with this, students can also submit the fee online through credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI until 11:50 p.m. This time, students will be given 3 hours and 20 minutes, i.e., approximately 200 minutes, for the examination. Moreover, the examination will be conducted in pen-paper mode on May 5, 2024, Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m.

How to fill NEET 2024 Application Process

Step 1: Online Registration

• Visit the official NEET 2024 website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET and locate the registration link.

• Provide accurate and complete personal details such as your full name, date of birth, gender, and contact information.

• On successful registration, a registration number and password will be generated, which you must note down or save.

Step 2: Login Application Form

• Use the generated registration number and password to login to your NEET applicant account.

• Access the application form and proceed to fill in your academic details, including the name of your school/college, marks obtained and other relevant information.

 

Step 3: Uploading Documents

• Carefully follow the guidelines provided for document uploads.

• Ensure that the scanned images are clear and meet the specified dimensions and file size requirements.

Step 4: Review and Edit

• After entering all the required information and uploading the documents, review the complete application form. Note any errors, misspellings, or inaccuracies.

 

Step 5: Payment of Application Fee

• NEET application fees can typically be paid through debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

• Once the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation message and a payment receipt.

 

Step 6: Submission and Confirmation

• Once you have completed all the steps, submit your application form.

• You will receive a confirmation email or SMS on your registered email address and phone number.

• This confirms that your application has been successfully submitted.
