Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at VIT group of institutions. Eligible candidates can get admission to B.Tech programs at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Andhra Pradesh.
The application process for VITEEE 2025 has started. Candidates must fill out and submit the online application form on the official website viteee.vit.ac.in before the last date, March 31, 2025, to appear for the entrance exam.
VITEEE 2025 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted from April 21 to April 27, 2025, at designated test centers in India and abroad, with the number of exam days varying based on the test cities. The exam will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes and will include a total of 125 questions covering Mathematics/Biology with 40 questions, Physics with 35 questions, Chemistry with 35 questions, Aptitude with 10 questions, and English with 5 questions. The question paper will be available only in English.

1. Nationality
Indian, NRI (Non-Resident Indian), OCI (Overseas Citizen of India), or PIO (Person of Indian Origin) candidates can apply.
NRI candidates should apply under the 'NRI Category.'
Foreign students who studied abroad can apply through the 'International Application Form.'
2. Age Limit
Candidates born on or after 1st July 2003 can apply.
Proof of date of birth (High School/X certificate) is required at the time of admission.
3. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed or be appearing for any one of the following exams in 2025:
10+2 from CBSE, ICSE, or any recognized state board.
Intermediate (two-year Pre-University Exam).
GCE A-level from London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka.
IB Diploma with Physics & Mathematics (HL), Chemistry (SL).
National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with at least 5 subjects.
If studied outside India, an equivalency certificate is required.
4. Minimum Marks Required
General category: 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB).
SC/ST and students from J&K, Ladakh, and Northeast states: 50% aggregate in PCM/PCB.
5. Subject Eligibility for B.Tech Programs
If you study PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths), you can apply for all B.Tech programs.
If you study PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), you can apply only for:

B.Tech. CSE (Bioinformatics) (VIT Vellore)
B.Tech. ECE (Biomedical Engineering) (VIT Vellore)

6. Additional Notes
VITEEE 2025 is mandatory for Indian students to get admission.
If the exam is canceled due to unavoidable reasons, admission may be based on 12th board marks.
Only students from a regular, full-time, formal education system can apply.
Selection is based on your CBT (Computer Based Test) rank.
Based on your rank, you can choose your campus, program, and fee category. Allotment depends on rank and available options.

Signature Guidelines:
Sign in a 6 cm x 2 cm box on white A4 paper with black/blue pen.
Scan and crop the image to 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
