On November 5, 2024, IIT Kanpur, the organizing body of JEE Advanced 2025, announced that the number of attempts for JEE Advanced would be increased from two to three. Because of this announcement, many B.Tech students dropped out of their engineering colleges, hoping to take advantage of the extra attempt. However, on November 18, 2024, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) changed its decision and reduced the number of attempts back to two. This sudden change left many students in a difficult situation. They had already left their colleges but now had only two attempts instead of the expected three. Feeling helpless, these students approached the Supreme Court for help, asking for a chance to appear in JEE Advanced 2025.
As per the recent order of the Hon&rsquo;ble Supreme Court of India (related to Writ Petition Nos. 854/2024 and 17/2025) dated 10 January 2025, a special opportunity has been provided for certain students to register for JEE Advanced 2025.

Based on this data, IIT Madras ranked first, IIT Delhi second, and IIT Bombay third in the number of qualified candidates. Notably, over 21,435 candidates passed from IIT Madras and IIT Delhi zones alone, which is nearly 45% of all successful candidates.

The Joint Implementation Committee (JIC) has released the official report for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2024. Published on September 16 on the official JEE Advanced website, jeeadv.ac.in, the report sheds light on the exam results and seat allocation across 23 IITs.


JEE ADVANCED 2024: IIT Madras Released JIC Report

Hello students, The IIT Madras has released the &lsquo;Result&rsquo; and&nbsp; 'Final answer key' of the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2024 exam on its official website jeeadv.ac.in on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam can download the Final answer key and Result from the official website jeeadv.ac.in.

JEE Advanced 2024 exam was successfully conducted on May 26 Paper-1 on May 26, 2024 from 9 am to 12:00 pm and Paper-2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. According to media reports, 1.91 lakh candidates applied for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam for admission to IIT colleges for the session 2024-25.
The exam was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at exam centers in 229 cities in India and 3 cities outside India.

'Gurukripa Career Institute', IITJEE Expert informed about the provisional answer key on Gurukripa's website blog that IIT Madras has uploaded the provisional answer key for JEE Advanced 2024 on the website https://jeeadv.ac.in.
