Expert Preparation Tips For JEE Advanced 2025 Exam

Understanding the JEE Advanced Exam Scheme

To understand the JEE Advanced exam pattern completely, you should know the complete information related to the exam like - Mode of Examination, Choice of Medium of Question Papers, Scheme of Examination, Pattern of Examination, Duration of Test, Syllabus of Examination. This will help you plan your time effectively during the actual exam.

Make a study Plan

Make your study plan in such a way that you give priority to those subjects which take you more time or that you find difficult. Stick to your study plan, study accordingly, and pay special attention to the problems that arise. Allocate adequate time to each subject based on your strengths and weaknesses.

Choose the right study material

It is very important to choose the right study material for JEE Advanced preparation. There are many books available in the market but the best ones for JEE Advanced preparation are NCERT books which are specially designed for JEE.

Therefore, never choose wrong study material by hearing from someone or being misled by someone, it can waste your time.

Solve Previous Years’ Papers and Mock Tests

Try to solve as many mock tests or previous years question papers as possible to prepare for JEE Advanced because solving mock tests or previous years question papers gives you an idea of the exam pattern and question types. Solving previous years question papers helps you in time management, increases speed and accuracy and boosts your confidence.

Revise Regularly

Revision is an important point of your JEE Advanced preparation. Frequent revision is very important for long-term retention. Therefore, you need to revise regularly. Set this as your weekly or daily goal and stick to it. If you want to crack JEE Advanced on your first attempt, you should Solve the Previous Year's exam papers, identify the weak Subjects, and revise regularly.

Time Management

Managing time is very important for the JEE Advanced exam. Make a study plan which has scheduled time for all the subjects and calculate your time to see how many questions you can solve in that time while giving mock tests to increase your speed in the exam.

Solve mock tests like real exams and then evaluate which topics you are facing problems in. Adopt your strategy based on your mock test performance to immediately identify the weaknesses and address them. Minimize distractions during study hours.

Prepare Short Notes

Short Notes is something that you feel the need for only 10 days before the exam. When you sit for revision and are not able to do complete revision in those 10 days, then at that time you remember Short Notes.

Short notes are those weapons, which if you prepare properly and read them at the time of examination, your chances of success in JEE Advanced can increase to a great extent. Because what you have studied in a year matters only if you remember it completely on the exam day.

Start making short notes when you revise a topic 2-3 times, then you have to note down some important things of that topic like formulas etc. in short form so that if you read short notes 10 days before the exam, then With that formula you will remember the entire topic.

Results Declared of JEE Advanced
